Formula 1 Premium Hospitality Bridge – Ministry of Sports

Overview

Just two months before the inaugural Formula 1 Grand Prix in Jeddah, FCC was entrusted with a highly time-critical and technically demanding task: the full design, manufacturing, delivery, and installation of 26 post-tensioned precast girders, each 40 meters long, for the Premium Hospitality Bridge over the F1 racetrack.

With no room for delay, FCC mobilized immediately—operating 24 hours a day under the close supervision of representatives from the Ministry of Sports and other Saudi officials. The entire scope was completed within a record-breaking 15 days, showcasing FCC’s capability to deliver under extreme pressure with precision and reliability.

Scope of Work

• Engineering and post-tension design
• Precasting of 26 girders (40m each)
