Jazan Economic City – Underground Infrastructure Works

Overview

FCC was awarded the complete scope of precast and civil works for the underground infrastructure network of Jazan Economic City. The project included the design, manufacture, and installation of critical stormwater systems across the development.

Scope of Work

• Precast stormwater culvert boxes (22 KM total length)
• 900 manholes and valve boxes
• All cast in-situ connections between culverts and networks

Complete precast production: formwork, steel reinforcement, casting, site delivery, and installation To meet the demanding timeline, FCC established an on-site precast modular facility, achieving a production and installation rate of 160 linear meters per day—equivalent to 64 culvert boxes of 2.5m length daily. This strategy ensured efficient execution while maintaining the highest standards of quality and durability.

The project demonstrates FCC’s capability to deliver large-scale infrastructure works with engineering precision, logistical efficiency, and production speed.
